Brown.

There is a season that often goes unnoticed and deserves more recognition, and that is Brown. It's the time between the melting snow and the emergence of greenery. Most people tend to complain about how unpleasant this time of year is, but for those who appreciate the colour brown, the number of shades to be found is endless! During this season, the light is usually flat, with overcast skies occasionally teasing spring rain, but the Spring showers are shy and let Brown stand on its own. If we were to revise the annual seasons, then they should go like this: Winter, Brown, Spring, Summer, Fall, and end with Brown again. There is no other season that has more anticipation for what is to come than Brown, and arguably, the anticipation is better than the real thing.
