Less Nihilistic.

Near Muncho Lake, BC.

While in Whitehorse, we drove home to Bonnyville twice. The trip would take us two days, with 24 hours on the road. This trip occurred in the summer while wildfire smoke blew throughout the Boreal Forest. After two journeys home, travel prohibitions from the pandemic, and multiple natural disasters in and near Whitehorse, accompanied by the climbing cost of living, it was apparent moving back to Alberta was necessary. The most challenging part was leaving the few friends we had there. Since returning to this province, I've felt much less nihilistic. Even in the same country, it can feel like you're on another planet.
