Resolute Goals.

I enjoy creating personal challenges and observing the slow progress I can make in building a life closer to an ideal.

As the new year begins, a lot of folks start resolutions. In high school, I made resolutions and actually stuck with them. The first year was grade nine, when I stopped drinking pop and gave up candy, chocolate, and chips in the following years. I made these choices because I saw myself indulging too much in a good thing. I was slowly enjoying them less, and cutting them out was the only way to moderate my consumption. Almost a decade later, I'm attempting to give up chips, candy, and pop again. I left in chocolate because I currently don't overeat it. I'm continuing to read the bible daily, take intentional time in nature for thought, prayer, and dog walks and slowly find ways to be physically active.

I enjoy creating personal challenges and observing the slow progress I can make in building a life closer to an ideal. If you have goals you set, I would love to hear them! I also made some photography goals this year that I shared in my latest email, which you can subscribe to below. As I mentioned last year, I will post new images every second day, so I hope you have time to return!
